TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP There are different types of membership which are: 1. Family: This comprises of the member, spouse and their children (children of the member must be less than 25 years of age and still a dependent and/ or in full time education. When a child starts working they become independent unit and should join on their own if they so wish). 2. Single 1: a single parent and his/her children 3. Single 2: unmaried person with no children The maximum number of membership shall be 10 units, however, new members can be extended at the discretion of the Executive. 1. The Association will not be involved in money laundering, drugs or drugs dealing, or illegal dealings of any kind 2. The Association will not be involved in sponsoring or donating to political parties. 3. Donating to charities, national or international disasters may be done through free-will offering collections only when members wish to donate as a group and members are not bound by these appeals whenever they occur. 4. The Association will not be involved in discrimination of any sort 5. A member has the right to terminate their membership and will be given their money less 25% to cover administration costs 6. The Executive Committee has the right to terminate any membership if they have breached terms and conditions. They will be given back their money minus 25% to cover for administration costs. 7. Membership naturally ceases whe a member is in arrears of 50% for six months and has been reminded with no valid reason to pay. If the member has benefited from the association he or she may not be entitled to any refund otherwise they will be given back their money minuse 25% to cover for administration costs. 8. Members should not be involved in any conduct that will bring the association into disrepute |
